Review: Despite what the trailers might lead you to believe, most of the time in the film is not really used to establish the killings. Instead, the jokes found in the concept, which provides three actors a lot of time to entertain you. Youre not see three people who conspire to kill their bosses, you are looking at three men to think about the plot of how to kill their own masters. Theres a fine distinction here, and the script does a good job of establishing difference.Seth Gordon does a wonderful job controlling here, adding a layer of intensity to the dark theme. The script is almost perfect, with the right amount of dark and crude humor with a lot of solid, memorable laughs.Outside of these two terms, Horrible Bosses really shines in two major ways. The three stars of the film, Bateman, Day, and Sudeikis, have incredible chemistry there. The three play off each other in such a way that you can not help but laugh. Each is carrying a drastically different character to life (though perhaps Bateman plays still the same man he plays in every movie), and their interaction is the key to the audience enjoys the film. The group really works well together, much like a large ensemble should, and we can only hope a sequel is a fast green-lit.The another amazing part of the film maintains a division that could not be more perfect. Spacey is clearly enjoying his dark, disturbing role as the office jerk, spends much of the film steam-rolling everyone who gets in his way. Every so often you can even take some touch Spacey eyes like hes enjoying himself. Maybe a little too much.Colin Farrell disappears completely in the role of Bobby. His despicable behavior and attitude to other people is absolutely hilarious. Hes almost nerekonebla in the part, and it is fantastic to see a list where Farrell is outside of their comfort zone.
